Smoking

Smoking. When did i start smoking? Wanna hear a grandfather story.. screw you, i'm telling it anyways.

My first cigarette was when i was like 7 or 8 years old. I remember it perfectly. The brand was Salem. For the first time in my short period of life, i tried 2 sticks of that. The first one was to practise on.. You can't blow into a cigarette k, you can only inhale it. I was 8, and it was my first stick, how in the world was i suppose to know that. Hahahaha

In time, i didnt hold a single stick for nearly 6 years. Then in Form 2, my sweetest friend named anonymous, gave me my third stick. Marlboro Reds. I think my head was spinning after 2 to 3 puffs of that.. i felt like shit, but since everyone was doing it, i did the same. I smoked for like 3 months and then I came to KL..

Well, i started smoking socially, I cant even finish one box of it. That time they were still selling a pack for RM3.90 for 10 sticks of Dunhill.. Cant even finish it.. Hahahaha.. So anyways to cut the story short.. by the end of Form 3, I stopped buying and smoking.. Felt good about that but over the years, i still snuck in a stick or 2 or a puff from friends.

Then during my working period in 2005.. I started again. That time the 14 sticks was still 5 bucks or 4 something for a Marlboro.. From there, i started smoking like mad.. My favourite brand Peter's and Dunhill Lights.. Wow.. But due to the rising cost of those cigarettes and the awesome lowered cost of Pall Mall, I smoke Pall Mall Lights, the biggest pack of all, 25 a box.. Hahahaha

And now the stuff that i want to tell is that, over the years i forgot why i started in the first place. When people asked me last time why i started smoking, i give them so much of excuses.. My top 3 are;

3) When i was working, i had this ass-wipe of a customer so thats why i started smoking.. to feel relax (stupid but it worked on some)
2) My friends all smoke so i follow la. (Stupid excuse even i feel like laughing)
1) I felt curious... then i got hooked on it

Hmmm... Well those were my reasons.. But now, at this moment, i myself know its all bullshit!! So now when someone ask me why i started smoking, i just say.. I have no idea and laugh myself silly.. Hahahaha

Thankful for friends who told me the "benefits" of smoking were.. you guys are "awesome".. hahahaha.. but really la, thanks for sticking with me eventhough im still doing it.
